Who’s Teaching?

We invite some of Austin’s best known performers, teaching artists and directors to offer workshops at Excused Absence. We seek to provide a wide variety of topics and resources for performers and educators at all levels.

Where and When?

  • All workshops take place on Saturday, August 12 and Sunday August 13.
  • Workshops are held at ColdTowne Theater and at a yet to be determined second location.
  • Space is limited in some workshops. Festival attendees will have the opportunity to sign up online for workshops once they are posted. Sign up for any remaining workshop spots on site, the weekend of the festival.
